Up next!

I’m having trouble deciding on my next book for 52 in 52… I’m on book three already, so I have time to dick around deciding on the next one.

Here are some of my options. I know I have a ton of others at home not listed… They’re sort of listed in order of my interest. The top one is the one that’s begging for myattention the most, but there are so many tjay I just can’t pick one.

So what should I read next? If there’s an even tie I’ll read the first one suggested!

  • Dead Until Dark – Charlene Harris
  • No Logo – Naomi Skein
  • Boomsday – Christopher Buckley

I would recommend The Fiery Cross, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, or Watchmen. They’re all quite good (although I got a bit bored by the texty parts of Watchmen, so I skipped most of them).

I totally think the Dark Hunter Companion counts, and I’m quite jealous because I can’t find it in any of the stores around here. Bah.

I just picked up Lamb over the holidays, you’ll have to let me know how it is if you decide to go with that!

Everything is Illuminated was a good but slightly confusing book. The movie is wonderful and I read the book after watching it. I do not know if it was better that way or not :) .
The Mother Tongue was fascinating. If you love linguistics, etymology, and English then it is perfect for you! Look forward to hearing what you choose…

The Fiery Cross, of course! ;) Though it’s probably my least favorite of the whole series…

I had to read Things Fall Apart for one of my Lit classes, and didn’t like it much, so I don’t recommend that personally!

wandered over from Ravelry to say: Everything is Illuminated! I love this book. I haven’t read Extremely Loud yet, but (hey, a stranger’s opinion, what could be better?) Everything is Illuminated is the funniest and the saddest book I have read in a long long time.

Ooo! Read Watchmen! A fantastic graphic novel – and will probably reread this year.
